First HouseGuest Evicted...Brandon

News on Big Brother comes fast and furious as we get closer to the deadline of the show actually starting. That means that webmasters like myself are checking all their sources and other sites constantly looking for any tidbit of news to bring you. Well it seems we struck gold last evening when we went to the CBS Official Big Brother site and noticed something very different. There were only 8 HGs were there used to be 9. We went back and checked files and examined the site further and found all traces of Brandon on the main pages expunged. Now you could still reach his bio and stuff by typing in the URL but we imagine this will be deleted soon as well.

To refresh your memory here was information on Brandon.

Brandon Showalter is a 28 year old computer engineer from Newport Beach, CA. As might be expected with his hometown, he's a surfer. His motto is the golden rule. He plans on winning Big Brother by manipulating the confidence that people put in him. He feels he will do better in physical competitions. Although he also feels he can score points by flirting and using his sexuality to his advantage. He lives down the street and parties with people like Dennis Rodman.

Well we went on a search for what happened to Brandon and why he is no longer a part of the show. Did he get sick? Did he just back out? Did they find some real dirt on him ala TheSmokingGun.com? What happened?

Here is where it gets tricky. Our search led us to one of our partner sites, www.bb4bbq.com which is the only other place I saw reporting this at the time. She said that she had found the same removal of Brandon from the web site but that a person claiming to be Brandon also came on our joint chatroom and gave an explanation. Please note spamgirl asked Brandon1975 - the username the person used , several questions to determine if he was the real "Brandon" or not and it seemed that he passed and she believed that this was the actual Brandon Showalter. This is the quote from the person in the chatroom.

"its over. Arnold pulled the trigger 2 hours ago. I left the hotel to go home instead of the set. the reason i was canned started from an attempted phone call to my girlfriend. I failed. It snowballed and they kept me there all week only to tell me at the same time i was expecting to go to the house." With that, he left the chat.

I was not there during the chat and I have not been able to verify for myself that Brandon was the actual person at the other end of the keyboard in that chatroom. If it wasn't him it was someone who had done a whole lot of research on him because spamgirl is normally quite good at verification.

However this morning it seems on Brandon's site is this message to BB4BBQ.

"First off bb4bbq.com, That was not me in your chat room but someone posing as me. I'm not sure what information this person provided to you, but it must have been something that leaked or was public knowledge. Until I have a chance to properly provide you with an interview I would appreciate your respect and remove the interview. That's a scary thought that someone has all the information about me already.

Yes I was pulled from the Reality show BigBrother4, sorry but your going to have to wait until I get the OK from Arnold to speak my mind. I will be happy to hook anyone up with any answers once I'm sure that I'm in the clear."

Makes sense and perhaps it was him and he doesn't want to be in trouble for talking yet or it was not him at all. I don't know. The end result obviously is that he is no longer involved in Big Brother and it was not of his own chosing to leave. I can tell you is that from the time the people are held in seclusion until the time that they enter the house they are given handlers to watch them and look out for their comfort but also to make sure that these people follow the rules and do not leak anything to anyone. Arnold Shapiro takes the secrecy element of this show very seriously and it would not be out of character for a HG to be booted for violating the sacrosanct rules of silence at this the endgame before the show starts.

I happen to have a copy of the rules from BB2 and they are extensive and the ones for BB3 are supposed to be even more detailed so I am sure that BB4 is no exception and he was told not to make personal calls while he was in seclusion for the house. If he did violate that then I would have thrown him out too. Problem is was Brandon one of the 5 swingers or one of the 4 with an ex to come in? Will they replace him in the short time that they have now or will they go back to 12 faces? I guess we will have to wait and see.

It all started on a normal chat night. A chat night like any other, people gabbing about Big Brother, easy going banter. Then, it happened. Someone named Brandon1975 enters chat - I didn't even notice him enter. "sup," he asked. "welcome," Heylollylolly replied. "well i have been better for sure," Brandon1975 said.
